Arrive in Paro, where your journey begins with one of the most scenic landings in the Himalayas. After a warm welcome, you will drive along a serene river valley toward Thimphu, passing traditional villages and forested landscapes.
As you enter the capital, you’ll notice Bhutan’s unique balance—modern touches within a deeply traditional setting. The absence of traffic lights and the presence of cultural architecture immediately set the tone for the country.

Today’s drive is one of the most visually rewarding in Bhutan. As you ascend to Dochula Pass, you are greeted by panoramic Himalayan views and the iconic 108 stupas standing in quiet harmony.
The descent into Punakha reveals a dramatic change in environment—warmer climate, lush vegetation, and wide river valleys. This contrast gives you a sense of Bhutan’s geographical diversity within a short distance.

Today is the defining moment of your Bhutan journey. The hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery takes you through forested trails, gradually revealing breathtaking views of the valley below.

Overnight: Paro
After breakfast, you will transfer to Paro International Airport for departure. The short journey to the airport allows for a final glimpse of Bhutan’s serene landscapes.
