Nabji Korphu Trek

DRU Nabji Korphu Journey is a low-altitude community trek that blends forest trails, sacred village landscapes, wildlife habitat, and cultural immersion in central Bhutan. Unlike Bhutan’s higher alpine routes, this journey is warmer, softer, and more village-centered, making it ideal for travelers who prefer cultural depth over altitude challenge. This package is extended to 11 days so the access to Trongsa, the full trek, and the return to Paro all remain realistic. It finishes with a final night in Paro before departure.

Route

Paro → Punakha → Trongsa → Tongtongphey → Jangbi → Kudra → Nabji → Korphu → Nimshong → Trongsa → Paro

Ideal For

  • Travelers seeking a softer trekking experience with strong village interaction
  • Guests interested in forest biodiversity, sacred sites, and community-based travel
  • Visitors wanting a realistic central Bhutan trek with Paro reached before departure

Trek Highlights

  • Community-based trekking route through Monpa and village landscapes around Jangbi, Nabji, Korphu, and Nimshong
  • Low-altitude forest trail with chances to encounter golden langurs, hornbills, and rich birdlife
  • Sacred route features linked with Guru Rinpoche traditions, including holy imprints and village temples
  • Practical structure with the trek completed before the return to Paro, keeping the final departure day completely free
