Today’s journey is one of the most scenic transitions in Bhutan. You will ascend to Dochula Pass, where 108 stupas stand against a panoramic Himalayan backdrop, before descending into the warmer Punakha Valley.

The shift in altitude brings a noticeable change in landscape—from cool mountain air to lush, subtropical surroundings.

After a relaxed morning, you will begin your return journey to Paro, passing again through mountain landscapes and high passes.

The drive offers time to reflect on your journey while enjoying Bhutan’s natural beauty.

Altitude: Base (2,600 m) → Tiger’s Nest (~3,120 m)

Your final day is dedicated to Bhutan’s most iconic experience—the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The trail winds through pine forests, prayer flags, and viewpoints that gradually reveal the monastery perched dramatically on a cliff.

Experience:
The hike is both physically engaging and spiritually enriching. Reaching the monastery offers a sense of achievement and a deep connection to Bhutan’s spiritual heritage.

After the hike, you will return to Paro and transfer to the airport for departure.
