Bumdra Trek with Western Bhutan Cultural Experience
DRU Druk Path Journey is a classic western Bhutan trek linking Paro and Thimphu through ridge trails, yak pastures, alpine lakes, prayer-flag passes, and monastery landscapes. This revised version follows a more realistic trekking rhythm: the trail reaches Phajoding on Day 6, then descends to Thimphu and returns to Paro on Day 7, keeping the final day fully for departure. It is ideal for travelers who want a true Himalayan trekking experience with strong scenery, cultural character, and an operationally smooth ending.
Route
Paro → Jele Dzong → Jangchulakha → Jimilang Tsho → Simkota Tsho → Phajoding → Thimphu → Paro
